The client

Our customer provides integration solutions to ecommerce business owners. The company has been in the industry for years helping e-stores to improve and enhance their store functionality. Also, leveraging the next-gen technologies, the business aims at bridging the gap between the backend and the front end of an application. The company leaders have, for long, used the traditional way of promoting their products. However, as they expand to the digital market, they now aim at orchestrating their products online and so the need for a website.

Our Process

Process

01

Emphasize

Dynamic pages with innovative designs and simple navigation, they were looking for a solution that would help them stand out in the crowd of competitors. We set up free discovery calls where innovative consultants took over to have a holistic view of the business, the problems faced, and the kind of solution expected so as to stay ahead of the curve.

02

Define

The company has been working in the industry for quite some time but failed to garner user attention. Even though the solutions offered by them were top-notch, the conversion rates were pretty less. Also, the web pages weren’t human-centric and lacked in terms of business goals. A series of sessions were held to understand why such a problem existed.

Employing the people’s first approach, our team worked to identify why the website was not really benefiting the business. Our experts worked to identify the pain points and problems that would arise in the near future.

The Define phase started with shaping the problem statement at hand and taking a complete download of information from the clients. We were certain that an idea as novice as this required in-depth research and understanding of the sports ecosystem. Our research resulted in identifying the key personas; viz., athletes, coaches, sports professionals, and the general public.
We were also able to identify other opportunities and needs during the research phase such as the need for booking a venue, hiring a coach. Established athletes were inclined towards an option of choosing to mentor an aspiring athlete and many businesses were willing to sponsor an athlete etc.
Our user journeys helped us design a cohesive and coherent platform that successfully fulfills the needs of all the members of the sporting ecosystem.

03

Ideate

We had our entire teamwork to outline as many ideas as possible. Each of the listed problems was taken into account when coming up with different ideas. Since we have to build the website from ground zero, we decided to segment the website into different pages and then work with one page at a time.

The end goal was to boost the conversion rates while keeping the design minimal so as to avoid congestion. Product thinking was one of the strategies adopted by our experts to manifest new-age solutions in the design thinking process.

Here, each idea would be considered as a potential move and discussed with the client. All of their views were taken into consideration to reassess our ideas and then draft the final proposal.

Theme Selection for front end

The first thing that we did was to finalize the theme of the website. And by theme, we do not simply mean the readymade templates. Designing the website includes a lot more than just extending a previously built theme. Our team shortlisted a combination of designs and the UI for the website. A dry run was conducted to see which of the color combinations work well with the website. We also performed a few tests to be sure that the final visual was appealing and eye-catching. Once the color combination was finalized, our designing team then worked on gathering relevant images and designing icons that would reflect the brand color. While the designers were working on the front end designs, we had our development team outline the technologies and the framework to be used for developing the back-end. We have some of the best minds in the industry who excel in building applications that people love.

Our tech stack includes CMS such as WordPress, Joomla, Codeigniter, etc. We work with technologies such as Node.js, Angular Js, and Ruby on Rails to develop applications that are rich in features.

End Result: Final Application

Finalizing everything, we merged the front and the backend to have the final application ready for testing. The designed application encompassed all of the features and functionalities offered by the client. The home page was attractive to hook the visitors and hit their attention span. Integrations listed were to the point and a comprehensive combination of content and images covered the entire website.

Vrinda Techapps really did a great job. We were extremely happy with the color combination and the way each element was put. We just asked them to induce innovation but the final product is far better than what we anticipated. They have an excellent team and the manner in which our value proposition was highlighted, we couldn’t have asked for more. We look forward to much more engagements with them.
